Hey doll...
Excitement! We were very taken with these brand new Roca Wear Barbie dolls that we spied at the Mandi Lennard press day. Even more impressive was to see a black doll with - gasp! - curly hair!

I love the slamming black barbies! How fab. As a black child of the 80s my mum wanted me not to have an identity crisis and got me a black barbie from the U.S. However the Barbie had on a racy red lace outfit and a weird shiny plasticy afro, which made her look like a $20 hooker. I'm glad to see things have come a long way since I was a child!
