Spreading some Lulu love

Have we mentioned how much we adore Lulu Guinness and her kiss-shaped clutches? Well, the clever lady has created a pop-up shop in London selling all sorts of Lulu-chic wares. The famous perspex lip clutches can be found there as well as tote bags, mugs, keyrings and our favourite love-letter charm pendant necklaces.

But that's not the really exciting thing. The best bit is that Lulu herself will be popping up in her pop-up shop tomorrow from 1-2pm and again on Thursday from 6-7pm where she will be meeting 'n' greeting, signing things and advising customers on what to buy. Too fabulous!

Breaking news: The darling Kooky Cat bag that Alexa Chung rocked at the Baftas has just gone on sale at Lulu Guinness. We love it because it's small, hands-free and something of a conversation-starter. Get in fast if you want one, they're already selling like hot tamales!

We're just a tad jealous of Alexa's Bafta outfit. She's not even left for the States yet and already she's looking more polished than a newly minted £1 coin. Check out the bag - fresh off the production line from Lulu Guinness's new AW09 collection (ie, not in the shops until late summer - typical!).

When we went to the Lulu Guinness press day, we were bowled over by all the bags - obviously - but something else caught our eye too. Namely, the headgear sported by our PR pal Sophie. We did some investigating and managed to find the source... Le Tour de Force. The work of Camille Roman, this ex-Central St Martins graduate trained at Lanvin, Zac Posen and Johnny loves Rosie before striking out on her own. Her blog is pretty fab too!
