A big debate is going on at www.jezebel.com regarding Madonna's lovely eleven-year-old Lourdes. The big deal? Her eyebrows. Much as we celebrate grooming for those who are interested, we wouldn't like to dictate that anyone should shave, bleach, tweeze or wax. Surely it's up to the individual? If Lourdes is aware of her downy top lip and bushy brows but making a decision to go au naturel then props to her. The key issue is choice. We think she's adorable anyway, but refusing to be swayed by conventional rules of beauty is what makes her super-stunning in our books. Hmm, wonder who she gets that from?

At 11, she definitly shouldn't be worrying about either, so I hope she doesn't start. She has the rest of her life to over-groom.

it looks sort of bad, but she's so gorgeous and she's only 11, anyway. i have a kinda... eehh problem? lol, like that, and i mean i pluck my eyebrows and bleach my lip and all but lourdes could probably carry this off because she's pretty (and madonna's daughter!), and i'm neither of those things ;] but ah well nice clothes and a good personality makes everyone look better, right?
I had that upper lip and had to start bleaching at 13 !!!

it will be interesting how long lordes will stand against the main beauty thinking of an hairless body. i am very happy that i don't have hairs above my lips...
